Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year we were able to use IXL because our district purchased it for us. This year I want to extend it to language arts and science. As a Gold-designated STEAM school, I feel that this instructional technology can help students with their science and technology components.

Being able to differentiate instruction with this amazing tool really helps the students succeed and learn new strategies.

This was amazing last year. I could give high kids a higher level and struggling students a prerequisite lesson.

I would love to use this in conjunction with our next few STEAM projects. It can really help improve understanding as we use science to build a drip irrigation system. This will help them understand the science component. It will also give language arts help for any writing that needs to be done. We will even be able to do fun jam sessions which are fun little games that help them check for understanding.
