Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I have a class of 19 amazing first graders! We are busy learning how to become beginning readers, young authors, and mathematicians everyday!

First graders are like little "sponges" and soak of up every bit of learning they can at this age.

They are eager to tell stories, share new knowledge, and make connections to what they learn! Not only do we learn academics, I emphasize the importance of "Doing the right thing at the Right Time" and "Be Kind, Helpful and an Awesome Friend" with a class pledge we recite every morning!

My Project

After 16+ years classroom, it's now time to prove to myself that my students deserve the best teacher I can be as a National Certified Teacher!

The process of earning this prestigious certification is very time consuming and rigorous, but also extremely rewarding!

This certification will help me continue to grow professionally as a lifelong learner, showing my students no matter what your goal may be, it takes hard work and dedication to reach it!

I can't wait to share my accomplishments and support my student's learning in a whole new way! Please help fund my project so that I can reach my goal!
