My Project

Third grade focuses a lot on reading, yet my class is missing something... a comfortable reading area!

With your help, we are creating a reading area where kids can get comfortable and dive into a good book, an area that will be known as "The Nook".

The Nook will feature bookshelves on a third grader's level, colorful beanbag chairs, and a cozy rug. The bookshelves will also offer an area to store both picture books and chapter book series.

This DonorsChoose project will also give my class a rug or "carpet" to learn on for the front of the classroom.
