My Project
Several years ago, we started an extra-curricular book club before school to bring readers from grades 5-8 together to read and talk about books each month. Our club started with 10-15 regular members and has jumped to over 40 students in grades 5-8 who show up to each meeting ready to read and chat!
This project will allow us to purchase more copies of books we plan to read during the rest of this year and next year with our students. Our generous PTO and Zionsville Education Foundation have purchased many titles for us based on the numbers of members we had several years ago. Now we are looking to add copies of those popular titles so that each of our club members have a copy of the book to read.
