This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A new challenge is given everyday in Mrs. Florian's computer lab as students learn how to program.

Students that take Mrs. Florian's classes at John A.

Ferguson Senior High School love to code. As soon as they come to class they are ready for a new challenge. These are career minded students who learn computer programming including Object oriented and Web development programs.

My Project

Each student needs a computer to code their programs. The laptops will be used to test the App Inventor program. This application is designed to create apps for phones and tablets. Students learn programming concepts, and develop successful apps. They enjoy the graphical interface, and how easy it is to use.

Students that learn how to program learn a powerful tool.

Having a computing major will provide students with a foundation of knowledge, problem solving, and logical thinking that will serve as a competitive advantage to their career, in whatever field they choose.
