Help me give my students iPad chargers to replace ones that have been lost or damaged because students who do not have chargers to take home are losing out on valuable learning time.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Have you ever had your electronic device charger break? Were you able to work or get through your day with that device not working? That is what is happening at our school. Students cannot learn because their iPads do not have any power.
iPads are not working because we do not have enough charging blocks and cables to give one to each student.
Each year, the school loses about 100 chargers due to damage. Students can bring their iPads to an in-school charging station, but it is first-come, first-served, and then the student is in class without the iPad to do class work.
Having these chargers to give to students will allow them to take their iPads home, do their homework, and then charge them overnight and be ready to use them to learn again the next day.
