My Project

With the curriculum rigor increasing tremendously, we often lose sight of letting children be children and what using their imagination does for their growth and development. I plan to use the market, tables, chairs, and pretend food to create a learning station that fosters that imagination while helping my students develop social and economic skills. Kindergarten students tend to need a lot of movement throughout the day and having wobbly stools will help release that energy while doing small group instruction.

The market learning station and wobbly stools will give students another way to express themselves all while maximizing student growth.

My students are so well deserving of this exciting new learning station and fun wobbly stools because they come to school everyday eager to expand their minds. My hopes for this project are providing students with another reason to love school and enhancing their learning and social skills through play and a way to release energy in a productive way.
