My Students

A once in a lifetime, life changing experience is what I'm hoping to pay forward to my students.

My seventh and eighth grade students are quirky, cool, yet humble and kind.

Our student population is a 75% free and reduced-price lunch population that consists of families living in and at poverty level that are often dealing with many more issues than we can even imagine! These students inspire me to be a better teacher and leader everyday!

These students have the world at their feet, and I'm hoping to brighten their futures through travel.

My Project

Technology is so fascinating and extremely powerful in sharing the world around us. My students need power adaptors to help them charge their cameras, computers, and electronics while they are on a 10 day adventure in Italy. This way, I can help guarantee they have the means to capture the magnificent art, freeze fame the memories they make with fellow peers, and create projects in a country that utilizes different power equipment than we do.

Technology is a means to power.

These adaptors will be shared among 45 students and will help provide a sense of confidence that the sights they are experiencing and capturing on their devices will be able to be shared, preserved, and catalogued long after their adventures.
