This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My beautiful second graders live in a diverse community and are beginning to understand the real world around them. They live in a high-poverty, high-traffic neighborhood with the school setting being their own little world. For this reason, I try to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where they feel safe and receive regular doses of knowledge and encouragement.
This wonderful assortment of Crayola products will add a beautiful array of colors and markers to create more student art!
For those moments of artistic expression, the possibilities will be endless as students explore a rich tapestry of colors and textures. Students will see the various shades of blues, greens, and other shades to color their artistic worlds. In addition, the Model Magic will allow my students opportunities to shape, mold and create with their hands! The art books will give my developing artists a chance to draw and sketch, while the magnetic frames can be used to display their works of art. Lastly, the markers will replenish our current supply for students to create various art projects. All these requested classroom art supplies DO make a difference.
