Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We still have a few months left in the academic year, and we are in need of more construction paper. Having this paper allows my students to do fun and engaging projects that are related to what we are learning. We need red, yellow, blue, green and more to create upcoming projects.
Planned lessons include creating kites with a math theme, bathtubs with compound words, caterpillars with contractions, and so much more!
Learning with art projects allows my students to express their ideas, practice fine motor skills, celebrate their creativity and have something to proudly take home. The vertical organizer will be used to keep our new inventory of construction paper organized and accessible. The watercolor paper will be used for water painting fun in the spring!
