My Students

My students are critical thinkers, hard workers, mathematicians, writers, comedians, and brilliant human beings. I have 16 students in my class. They each learn in a different way and have different needs. My classroom has a diverse environment of learners.

My students are eager to learn!

My students always want to know more about the topics we learn. They love to read all types of novels and are always ready for a good projectable book. My class is in need of materials to use every day. These set of books would provide students just that.

My Project

My students are on different reading levels within my classroom. However, to bring students together, I am requesting this order of The One and Only Ivan. If funded, every student in my classroom will have a book in their hand!

This is about more than just a book purchase.

The One and Only Ivan teaches students about more than just character traits, sequencing, social studies, culture, different areas, summarizing... It teaches students about life, how to treat others, and the power of friendship.

If funded, students would have more than just concepts in common in class. They would have an entire book and personal connections to discuss with each other within and outside the classroom walls.
