Help me give my students art supplies so they can continue to be artists. I want to cultivate my students' creativity but our school does not have art, due to a lack of funding.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My first graders are energetic, curious, artistic, and social. They love to learn, work together, and create! My students take an active role in our world. They are activists who are developing ways they can personally make the world a better place. Last quarter they discussed how our kindness can make the world a better place! One way they do this in the classroom is to take an active roll in one another's happiness and learning. They are peacemakers and are always available to help a struggling classmate or to resolve a classroom conflict. This quarter we are learning about endangered animals, and discussing how we can help endangered animals. They have decided we can help endangered animals by raising awareness through posters and conversation; and by protecting trees by limiting the amount of paper we use and recycling.
My students are curious and enjoy building their world view as our class "travels" around the world with my dog Trip, learning about different cultures.
They love learning about the ways we are the same as and from people from other countries. We are currently working on becoming pen pals with a classroom in Vietnam.
My Project
My students deserve the opportunity to experiment with art materials and create art! To paint a picture, many of my students do not even have crayons at home (I personally send crayons home with students who do not have them), but this means they likely have little access to more expensive art materials (ie. paint). The supplies will cultivate my students' creative identity and will give them the confidence to continue to create art! We will use our art supplies during art class, where students will learn about wonderful artists, create art using many art techniques, and create art with many mediums! We will also use the supplies during social studies where we will learn about historical art, as well as art from different cultures; math where we will create shapes and lines; and science where we will represent movement!
