My Project

One of our main goals is to push kindness and empathy. We chose this specific book and story to focus on bullying and friendship in the school setting.

Bullying in America is a growing epidemic and we will do anything we can to make sure our students' concerns are addressed and that they feel safe and accepted in our school.

This afterschool program will run 9 weeks and will focus on the popular chapter book, "Wonder". It will give the kids a chance to see life from another perspective and also help them feel comfortable reading aloud in front of other kids. Please help us provide the books and yoga mats necessary to make this an enjoyable time for all!
