Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help my classroom to be more mobile. I would like a standing rolling desk to create a separate mobile station for the other side of my classroom. I am also asking for a presenter and wireless keyboard with mouse pad to use at the mobile station. These items will help me to move away from the desk and reach more students. I would also like more storage for classroom artwork and supplies.

It is important to keep an eye on all of the students in the classroom.

With mobile furniture, I will be able to set up multiple stations to work with students. This can help to keep students engaged and help them to feel more seen. When I am presenting new information or showing slides for discussion, I am tethered to my desk. If I can move around, I can be more engaging with my students. With shelves and stations around in different areas, the students can make the most of the workspace.

My students would benefit from these items because it would create more of a positive and inviting rapport in the classroom. This will help create an atmosphere of togetherness and help me move around the classroom while presenting and creating
