Help me give my students at our school a cotton candy machine and shave ice maker to help raise money to use to help off set the cost of our field trips!

My Project

My students are so excited about learning. They are so energetic and curious just about everything. Every day is like an adventure in our classroom. I teach at a Title I school where the students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch. I have students who learn best when they are actively involved as they play, explore, experiment, discover, and create!

Field trips can provide learning opportunities and hands-on experiences outside the classroom!

They can also increase students’ knowledge, and cultures and build cognitive, social, and emotional structures that can help our students with cultural diversity and support their desires to consume information from their surroundings. That's why using the cotton candy and shaved ice machine for fundraising would enable us to make money to pay for the buses needed to transport our students on field trips.

Students will be able to learn how to handle and count money as we sell, cotton candy and shave iced cones at our school events and community events. The goal is to give our students hands-on experience of selling cotton candy and shaved as a fundraiser to help raise money for field trips and also help them learn the importance of setting a positive goal and how it feels to reach it!
