This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fabulous first graders working hard to follow the Pillars of Character and become productive members in society. These students are the reason I love my job and what makes it so special. These students are the future and I have the privilege of shaping and molding them to love learning and engage their minds daily. I am reminded everyday how wonderful these students are with their big smiles and bright eyes.

A hundred years from now it won't matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove; however, the world will be different because I was important in the life of a child!

My Project

Using technology in the classroom has helped reinforce learning through the use of virtual manipulatives, assist with running learning stations, provide online activities to students and empower their love of learning, the ability to study, review and critique content on web pages and much more.

Engaged readers through the magic of stories and books creating pictures in their minds!

Books that aren't in the school library can be accessed on their tablets and help readers picture the lessons being taught and guide student learning goals and outcomes.

Technology has become an important part in a child's learning and motivates all learning types.

These stands will:

*keep students focused on their work and not have to prop them up on the desk to see them

*adjust the positiion or height for those visual learners

*hands on learners manipulate through touch, stimulating the brain

*auditory learners can listen to stories/books and reinforce reading strategies
