My Project

I teach a vibrant group of first graders who come to school each day full of curiosity, energy, and joy. They love to share stories, ask big questions, and explore new ideas together. One of the most magical parts of our day is when we gather as a class — to read, to learn, to share, and to grow.

Right now, we don’t have a central space that brings us together.

A classroom rug would become the heart of our learning — a place where we hold morning meetings, dive into storytime, build reading skills, and create a strong classroom community. For many of my students, this shared space will offer comfort, connection, and structure — helping them feel grounded and ready to learn.

This “magic carpet” isn’t just soft and colorful — it’s a launchpad for imagination, collaboration, and confidence. With your help, we’ll create a warm and welcoming space where every child can feel seen, heard, and excited to learn.
