My Project

Second graders are like sponges and learn a tremendous amount through quality literature! Their eyes light up each time I pull out a new book. The books I've chosen touch on various genres, cultures, settings and characters, and real world topics.

Second graders love to be transported to various places and experience different perspectives.

I will use these books to enhance our classroom lessons on various comprehensions strategies. Books like this provide experiences for these students that our existing curriculum doesn't provide. They love to hear and enjoy literature.
