The Learning Resources We Need

Help me give my students access to the hundreds of thousands of high quality resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, where we will be able to get materials such as decodable readers, targeted instructional plans and materials, and more!

My Students

Early education is about providing a place for kids to not only learn but to learn how to learn. I have been able to reflect a lot about what contributes to a successful classroom, and one of the biggest factors over which I have control is the physical classroom space. My students deserve to be a part of a classroom community that is working to support their learning.

My first-grade students are so excited and happy to be back in the classroom, they are creative collaborators who have a special curiosity for nature (especially bugs!)

My goal for this year is to be able to provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment in which my students will be able to take ownership over their experiences, and their own learning opportunities. I am so thankful to have the chance to come back together as a community.

My Project

We are asking for some funds to use in order to access valuable resources on Teachers Pay Teachers, which is a website where teachers, educators, curriculum developers, and others post their resources and materials for others to access. Specifically, I am planning on using a large chunk of the money to purchase decodable reading materials which will help my students as they continue their journey as new readers. Many of the materials posted on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) are going to be so valuable for my kids because so much is differentiated as well. So I will have access to a wide range of resources that will support ALL of my students!
