This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is a continuation of another project. Our school does not have a library. I seek to collect enough books to help build a library for my students. Three years ago we moved from our small building to a larger school, and we are trying to give our students all the things they did not have at their last school: cafeteria, basketball court, sports, library, etc. For this portion of the continued library building project, I am asking for Stephen King books.

Reading is vital for any child’s future.

Simply by reading literature kids are able to build and maintain necessary ELA skills alongside the curriculum. Being able to provide our students with literature from all backgrounds will help us to prepare our students for the road ahead.
