Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The majority of my students come from low-income households. Some of my students are not at risk, but the majority are.

In my classroom, you will find students from different ethnic backgrounds.

I also have some students who are homeless.

It would be great for all of my students to be able to access online materials. The students that I serve do not have the ability to purchase electronic devices. In some classes, only half of the students have smart phones.

My Project

Many of our students can't afford devices to access their online materials. While some students are able to afford a good smart cell phone, some still can't. The funds from this project will enable those students who can't afford a cell phone or tablet to work online.

Our school district has adopted a new curriculum.

My students will be able to go paperless if they only had the technology available to them. With these requested Apple iPads students will access online textbooks, as well as other materials. Presently, some of my students do not even have a smart cell phone and are unable to do work online.
