Help me give my students a cool, hardback journal and markers so they can craft and illustrate an epic, adventure book to demonstrate their knowledge of state morphology and different types and boundaries.
I want to continue to foster student's creativity and curiosity. They will learn about State Morphology and Boundaries. They will learn different shapes of states: compact, elongated, fragmented, compact, perforated, and prorupt. They will also learn different types of boundaries: relic, superimposed, subsequent, antecedent, geometric, and consequent. Learning will be demonstrated by crafting and illustrating a children's book.
My students will be authors of, The Irresistible Adventure Book Series and they will create a children's book, with a storyline that includes an explorer who shares their adventures of the shape of state they traveled to and the types of boundaries they discovered along their journey.
My students are amazing! They are from diverse cultural backgrounds. They are persistent and resilient. Many speak multiple languages and English is not their second language, rather it is their 3rd or 4th! They are open-minded, kind, and brave. They support one another's struggles and successes. They love to collaborate on their projects. They consistently speak life into one another. They will speak their truth to my power. They taught me about neural diversity and I am a better teacher because of them. When they do not understand, they ask for examples. I strive to introduce them to a variety of food. When I do, they are amazing and are willing to be adventurous and they will eat with me. I love their curiosity and their spirit of adventure. I am here to be of service to them because they will be our future leaders. Their families are from all different parts of the world and I am excited about our future because, in their hands, our future is one where differences in language, culture, and traditions are embraced and celebrated. They are the best and they are truly a model of global citizens!
