My Project

Epic poetry at its finest! Homer is the legendary man who gifted the literary world with the blueprint for stories.

It would be exciting to be able to give my students access to these ancient texts, the Iliad and the Odyssey, in both poetry and visual forms!

Homer set the stage for the Hero's Journey and how narratives have played out since his time and students will benefit greatly by reading these epic poems.

It is my hope that I will be able to use literature circles for students to be able to read and share these texts with one another in my English classes.

Ms. Peterson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 14.
