My Project

Our world is increasingly dominated by the presence of artificial intelligence (AI). So what does this mean for students in the future? Isaac Asimov examines the intersection of humans and AI in the science fiction novel, "I, Robot." Students will use this novel to make their own connections between the use of AI in the modern world, the ethics of this use, and how this relates to science.

Help my students deepen their knowledge of ethics and make cross-curricular connections with this science fiction classic!

My students love an academic challenge and will enjoy using literature in the science classroom to deepen their learning.

This novel will help fulfil the honors requirement for Earth/Environmental Science. In this course, we make connections between how humans interact with and impact the Earth. With this novel, we can explore how the future of AI may impact environmental science in the fields of sustainability, geology, meteorology and others.
