My Students
My school is located in Baltimore City. I teach in a middle school classroom. It's a pretty small school in comparison to many other schools around Baltimore.
How can I describe my students?
Bold. Outspoken. Inquisitive. Smart. Silly. Funny. Those are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of my students.
My students push themselves to succeed and learn new things on a daily basis. They persevere through adversities. I absolutely love my students, and I can't wait to see what positive things they contribute to the world.
My Project
Students who are a part of Project Lit, will be going on a field trip to see the movie The Hate U Give. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas is one of the first novels we will be reading as part of Project Lit. Students will be able to make comparisons between the novel, as well as the interpretation of the movie. Most importantly, students will be able to make some real-life connections between the book, the movie, and the society in which they live. This will be a wonderful experience for students, and it will definitely be memorable.
