I am the art teacher in a public elementary school, serving 500 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. I teach some extremely talented artists who love to share their artwork with others. I am looking for a donor who is willing to purchase 5 aluminum frames for my students to display their work in the main hallway of our school. My art classroom is located far away from the main hallway of our school, so many times visitors do not see the artwork on display outside of my classroom. The aluminum frames will provide a "professional" way for student artwork to be displayed in a prominent location in our school. I currently have 5 aluminum frames, but am looking to add more frames to the display to allow more students to have the opportunity to show their work. In an effort to get my students to talk more about artwork and use correct art vocabulary, I will conduct class art critiques. Through the critiques, students will choose which artworks should be placed on display in the frames. I will also show students how to place their artwork and a description of their work into the frame. The artwork placed in the frames will be changed out on a monthly basis. Will you provide frames for my very talented artists? My students will be so excited to see their work framed. Thank you for reading my proposal!
