My Students

Our school is working hard to prepare our students for the upcoming GMAS, which is the Georgia Milestones Assessment. Our students are all from low-income neighborhoods and up to this point have struggled with math to say the least. With your help, that will stop today. I believe that math skills are an essential part of success and is a critical requirement necessary for prosperous futures!

My students are hardworking, energetic and eager individuals that have so much potential!

These early years of learning will greatly impact each of my student’s futures. Our goal is to prepare our students for the next levels of mathematics in a classroom environment geared towards learning and achievement.

My Project

These basic materials such as pencils, paper, flash cards and number lines will help my students succeed. I know it doesn't seem like much, but my students come from very low income neighborhoods where all too many times they don't have the basic materials to get through my class.

My class is preparing for a very important test that is going to require them to know many basic math skills.

It is going to require a lot of practice, patience, and consistency. Learning and utilizing these basic skills with the materials provided will at least give them a fighting chance.
