This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This classroom book set donation initiative aims to enrich students' learning and provide students with a thought-provoking nd impactful literary experience. This initiative seeks to equip our 6th grade classrooms and libraries with this renowned dystopian novel. The donated books will open young readers' minds to themes of individuality, memory, and societal structure, fostering critical thinking and discussions on complex moral dilemmas. Through this literary journey, students will gain insights into human emotions and the value of freedom, making the world of "The Giver" a compelling and unforgettable part of their educational journey.
