Our student council strives to make our school and community a place to be proud of through various community service projects, activities, and events.
The student council members are in grades from 6th to 12th.
They come from all different walks of life and backgrounds, but they all have at least one thing in common. They are all student leaders! The are motivated students who love going out and participating in projects and activities to help fellow community members and students get involved. This year alone, students have hosted 2 blood drives for Red Cross, held a canned food drive, donated to needy families during the Christmas holiday, created a scavenger hunt for the elementary students for Red Ribbon Week, adopted a section of the highway and cleaned it in our area, and accomplished other things.
My Project
Escape the Room is a fun, interactive entertainment concept located in St. Louis. While it looks like any other ordinary room, it’s actually a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-workers or strangers. Find the hidden objects, figure out the clues and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom and “Escape the Room.” The game is designed for intense cooperation and working together. This is a perfect way for the office to get out for a high quality team building exercise.
There are many reasons why team building is important.
It facilitates better communication. It promotes motivation and creativity. Team building also develops problem-solving and breaks down barriers between people.
