My Students

My students were provided with Point and Shoot cameras and have been diligently learning how to use them and taking some amazing photographs. Currently, students are carrying them around in the boxes they came in! I would love for them to have a small case to keep their photos and cameras safe.

My students are amazing: they are funny, supportive and creative.

They go to a public school in a small rural town in upstate NY. They own chickens and goats and for a city-grown teacher, they just absolutely blow me away. I've been working with this group for 3 years now and I've seen them grow from Studio Art to Digital Photography--exploring their creativity and defining their voices as artists.

My Project

My students need 10 camera cases for their point & shoot cameras (provided by the school.) Students will be able to protect their cameras more efficiently. My students will be able to carry their cameras inside their backpacks and purses. They'll learn responsibility and be able to protect their cameras much better then carrying them around inside a cardboard box.

My students are currently carrying their cameras in the awkward clunky boxes they came in: having these carrying cases would allow the cameras to be more protected and would then fit inside of backpacks and purses.
