Help me give my students glue, activator, and add-ins for our upcoming Slime Market project.

My Project

In this project-based learning experience, my students will explore the economic concepts of earning and spending, wants and needs, supply and demand, opportunity cost, and budgeting. My students are earning Wildcat Bucks as rewards for being kind, being respectful, and demonstrating perseverance. In this activity, learners can use their Wildcat Bucks to purchase upgrades for materials and add-ins as the make their own, customized slime in our classroom slime market.

This fun, hands-on approach will make abstract economic concepts tangible and engaging.

They will be able to choose how to spend and save their earnings as they 'purchase' the glue, activator, and add-ins to customize their slime recipes. They will also be able learn how to develop a personal budget, prioritize wants and needs, and explore the opportunity cost of the choices they make.

These concepts can be abstract for children, so applying them to an activity that is engaging and meaningful to them is crucial to developing economic understanding. With your help, this project-based learning experience will set a foundation that will benefit my students for a lifetime.
