The incredible students of the Young Women's Leadership Academy of Fort Worth have been diligently working toward the completion of College Board's Advanced Placement Art and Design Exam that requires them to create a digital portfolio. Each student is to use their artwork to explore 2D, 3D or Drawing media. This is to be guided by one area of inquiry and this is chosen by the student. These young ladies have shown immense talent and dedication to practicing technical skills, experimenting with new media and processes and now, revising their efforts by means of editing and honing the work completed this year. Since these students have their choice to work in traditional or digital media, many have chosen to apply their knowledge of traditional art forms and graphic design to include in their individualized portfolio.
The end of the year has brought on the wear and tear of the campus equipment and as of right now, the students who are working digitally are unable to print their artwork or print anything in full color.
We ask our donors to honor these dedicated young artists with a color printer that is dedicated to printing the amazing artwork that these students have poured their heart into. We appreciate your consideration!
