This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This is my first year as a Montessori pre-k teacher! My students love the idea of cooking, setting tables, and taking care of others.

The kitchen set would allow students to engage in creative play that inspires positive interaction and develops a sense of responsibility.

The art easel nurtures their fine motor development, coordination, and writing skills necessary to succeed academically. These materials would bring joy to our classroom because these are activities that my students love to do daily and enhance social skills that will allow them to thrive in everyday life. I'm excited to see all the creative material that will come from our class having these materials.
