Our fifth graders lit up when I told them their final project would be tie dye--and YOU made it possible. \r\nWe did the project over two weeks and discussed the process as well as chemical components of the dye. Students were very excited to pick their colors and match their friends. They have told me they are planning on wearing their shirts for the last week of school and matching their friends. \r\nAs they were walking out of the art room today, one of my fifth graders turned and looked at me and said, \"You love us.\" These moments are the reason I teach.
