My Project

My students are creative, expressive, and full of ideas. Many of them learn best when they are given opportunities to think beyond traditional worksheets and writing assignments. They love activities that allow them to be hands-on, collaborative, and imaginative while still showing what they know.

These art supplies will help students bring their reading and writing to life in meaningful ways.

Materials such as markers, crayons, colored pencils, and gel pens will allow students to create visual representations of stories, illustrate themes and character traits, design interactive notebook pages, and express their understanding through creativity. Incorporating art into ELA will help students build confidence, stay engaged, and make deeper connections to the texts we read.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
