My Students

I love working with my students as they learn to play the ukulele! Many of my students have limited experience in music and have never played an instrument before. Creating music is a wonderful part of their day and provides a break from their other classes. Our time together builds their confidence, their collaboration skills and boosts their morale.

My Project

My students will start the year online. They will be assigned a ukulele to use at home and at school when we return. One of the best things about playing the ukulele is the ability to transport it - if you have a good, reliable case! Our cases have worn out and replacing them is much less expensive than replacing instruments. Students enjoy practicing at home and these cases will provide the necessary protection for the instrument while giving students the peace of mind in transport and at home overnight and on weekends.
