The Bulldog Bounces

My students need five individual computer headphones for whey they go to the Bulldog Bounce Center to work on the internet on an interactive program to empower self-regulations, discourage bullying, dealing with negative comments, social skills and character development skills to help them be the best student and citizen they can be.

Bulldog Bounders is the name of the center the student will go to work on skills that are getting in the way of their academic progress.

I am a school counselor who works with students from low income to poverty level; high crime; one or both parents incarcerated. The dysfunction they live in get in the way of their academic progress. They have low self-esteem and no motivation for their future. These students need help to break the family chains that has them tied down with little hope to be successful.

The headphones will help the students, after discussion of their situation, to interact on the Internet with the program, Challenge Software, with scenarios similar to what they are experiencing. Listening to the scenarios will help them make the decision to help change their behavior and become a better person and student.

You will make it possible for my students to want to take the responsibility to empower themselves to be the best they can be by taking the challenge to be a better person and citizen. Also they will want to pass their success to their peers.
