This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to motivate and interests my students in being part of a book club community. Knowing that they will have an opportunity to discuss the book with their peers can motivate students to read more regularly and explore different genres they might not have considered otherwise.

The book club experience will foster a sense of camaraderie among the students, which will motivate them to stick to a reading schedule.

Along with exposing them to diverse literature. Book clubs often introduce students to a wide range of books they might not have chosen on their own.
