My Students

Our classroom is one that is full of excited and energetic learners. My students love getting the chance to try something on their own before checking to see if it is correct. We are working on being a class that accepts mistakes and sees them as ways to improve instead of as failures. As we continue to grow as a class and learn about collaboration and support each other through various activities, it is important that all of my students get the same opportunities as others in the building.

We are a suburban district that prides itself on providing students with learning opportunities that enhance our teaching.

Our building has been blessed with the technology that is able to provide scaffolding and support to students with different needs. Our students come to us ready to learn and are eager to participate in class.

My Project

The document camera will be used daily (even multiple times a day, across several subject areas) in our classroom. The camera is an excellent tool that can enhance the support and scaffolding that I provide my students in the classroom. By providing examples and showing documents that I am able to write on using my ProBoard, my students will be able to follow along easily both from their carpet seats and their desks. By adding this technology in my classroom, my students would be provided with the same technology that other classrooms are able to have access to throughout our school.
