Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are resilient, hard-working, and dedicated. Continuing to educate our students during these troubled times is my number one priority and having the tools to do so is a must. My students deserve to have what is needed in order to be successful. My students should have access to inviting resources to continue through their journey in education. Help me to continue this year's teaching and their learning be engaging and successful.

My Project

The use of the speaker and a voice amplifier is something needed to use on a daily basis in my classroom, especially in Reading. The students being able to hear me is imperative as well as any learning video that I will use in my lessons. The laminating pouches will be used to continue creating durable workstations that can be wiped and cleaned for all students to continue practicing what they have learned.

Students being able to have the resources is imperative to continue their educational path.

The knitting machine will be used along with other looming machines that I have to teach students to use in an after school extra curricular activities. Our school does not have the funds to provide me with these knitting tools and I believe students should have other learning experiences.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
