Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are beginning to prepare for exams. This is an important time in the year for them as they seek to pass their courses. I teach ESL students at a Title I school and many of my students lack the materials needed to be successful in the classroom, including food. Some do not have their own homes so they are living with family members.

This project will help them be well prepared for exams with pens, pencils, construction paper, highlighters, index cards, and snacks with the goal of doing their very best without having to worry about anything but studying.
