Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We just opened up a clothing closet at our High School. We called it The Bear Boutique. We have many students that are in need of clothing and shoes. We are in need too of clothing racks, shoe racks, and other organizational items that would make the Boutique more organized and inviting.

Our Boutique is in need of clothing racks so it can be more organized and more accessible to students.

As of right now we have many items that are on top of boxes. We are trying our best to have the Boutique look its best for our students.

Our special needs students, The Bear Pals, are helping organize the boutique and learning a life skill at the same time. The students with the guidance of staff, label all clothing, organize and fold clothing as necessary. This an excellent life skill for our students.

We have had staff and community donate new to gently used clothing to this clothing closet. We've had many students that have benefited from this project. The students are referred to the Boutique and can also walk in to get necessary
