Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students require unique and intense supports during the school day. In order to get to the academics and functional skills, sensory needs have to be met through various activities that help them with spatial awareness, balance, and emotional regulation. They need a variety of alternate seating to manage these needs.
This jumbo vinyl bean bag chair would replace our existing fabric one that is skimpy on filler.
The bean bag is a favorite among the students. Upgrading to this one gives us a bean bag that is better sized for a middle school body and more easily cleaned.
