My Students

Our school is a Title I, inner-city school with a diverse population. A full 86% of our students are considered low-income. We are exploring new ways to use data to improve instruction and objectives, the learning environment, and student outcomes. Our pillars for success are commitment, perseverance, and honor. Students are pushed to excel, to achieve great things, and to stay focused on academic goals and pursuits. My students are thriving now on everything I expect them to do. Achieving something in music is performance-based. I have approximately 80 students in bands and orchestras.

My Project

Running a music program efficiently these days takes organization. Sheet music can be downloaded with a fee instantaneously and printed straight from my printer. A music classroom is like a printer's shop—there are many parts, folders, instruments, and sheet music to label and keep organized.

The print cartridges, stamps and pads, and labeling tape funded through this project will provide access to sheet music and organization to my music room.

My students appreciate access to new music. They welcome a room and materials that are organized. They grow as musicians when treated professionally. The mindfulness and wellness of everyone is affected when there is control. Your donations keep the "Band and Orchestra Printers Shop" humming along!
