My Project

Our urban teens deserve access to the wonders of modern science, but our school library is holding them back. Outdated textbooks and inaccurate information paint a distorted picture of the scientific world. I recently weeded a book on Pluto as a planet and another on climate change from 1989! Clearly, we need help.

My DonorsChoose project aims to revitalize our science collection with current, relevant books covering topics like space exploration, cybersecurity careers, climate change, and sustainable living.

These engaging resources will inspire students to dream big and explore the exciting possibilities within STEM fields.

With your support, we can replace dusty, inaccurate books with vibrant, up-to-date resources that reflect the dynamic nature of science. Please consider donating to our campaign and empower these young minds to become the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. Every contribution makes a difference.
