The Art of Organization

Help me give my students pencil pouches and pencils to keep their school supplies organized and easily accessible while at home.

My Students

My students have been learning remotely since March 16th. For some of my students, this has created little interruption to their lives; they are able to complete the work and they have the resources to do so. For some of our students, this has been life altering. They lack the resources to properly engage in online learning. Our district has been distributing Chromebooks for home use as well as trying to identify families in need of hotspots to continue learning. The requested supplies will help supplement those lessons.

My Project

Our students need a way to organize their at home learning supplies. As a parent to two boys, I know how much additional time it can add to a school project when you need to locate the supplies. These pencil pouches will provide our sixth grade students with an easy tool to keep their school supplies readily available. The pencils are always needed; you can never have enough pencils.

Our sixth grade teaching team wants to ensure that every student can continue to learn while at home.

Additionally, we are extremely fortunate to have supportive parents that are doing all that they can to provide structure and routine to their students. These pencil pouches and pencils will give our already overworked parents one less step to tackle when helping with homework.
