Help me give my students art in the classroom. Art is a great outlet. Art is a great way for students to express emotions and talents. Art projects help with social emotional learning and fosters engagement.

My Project

My students are in fourth grade and work so hard! We do a Wax Museum project at the end of the year. Students choose a person in history, create a tri-fold board and present their project at a community " Wax Museum" event. Towards the end of the year their glue has run out so it will be great to have new bottles/sticks of glue for them to glue their essay, paragraphs and pictures to their boards. The set of headphones, clipboards, highlighters and pencils will also help when they need to watch videos/read articles and take notes on their hero. When creating their board it will be nice for students to have new permanent markers/pens/scissors to use. When reading about their hero, new bookmarks will be fun to have.

In addition, we do an end of the year painting project.

State testing can sometimes cause students stress. I have found that painting is a great outlet for students to help calm emotions and bring out talents.

I'm beyond proud of the work that my students have and continue to do this year! I enjoy rewarding them. They love stickers to put on their water bottles and computers. Smelly stickers are an extra bonus.

On the last day of school, students create a class yearbook. Having the multicultural crayons will help students be able to represent their true selves.

As a teacher, I want to make sure I provide my students with everything they need in order to be and feel successful. These supplies will help ensure each student has what they need.
