My Students
I have a classroom full of energetic 4th graders who love hands-on learning experiences. They love to get up and get moving to engage in everything they are learning.
Most of our kiddos come from low-income families who can't afford all the things necessary for them to be successful in school.
Our school does our very best to provide them with those tools they will need to succeed in school, and I would love to be able to contribute to that!
My Project
Having an iPad and AppleTV in my classroom will allow for my students to instantly access content and show their knowledge from anywhere in the room. It will also allow me to engage my students in lessons and unplug from being the old "sage on the stage." My students can join on the lesson, instead of just being part of the crowd. The AppleTV is a great tool for helping my students share or present their own work to their peers instantly.
I find great value in students learning from one another and they will have the opportunity to do just that when working from the iPad.
I want my students to be proud of what they know and what they learn each and everyday. Students will also be able to link their devices to the projector to display their learning, projects, and insights.
