The children are sweet and spirited and love to learn.We are engaged in virtual learning and despite its challenges we have bonded as a class.
There are 19 children and they are so engaged on-line.
They love Piggie and Gerald books and Go Noodle. They love learning to read and challenging math problems. They write incredible stories about their lives and enjoy art. They truly are amazing!
My Project
Every day I strive to make reading fun for my students. I strive to make them life-long readers. I strive to engage them in multi-cultural, interesting literature. These chapter books will achieve these goals.
These amazing chapter books will engage my students during both guided reading and independent reading and they will make a difference in my students' lives.
In teaching with chapter books, students learn new vocabulary words, practice decoding skills, and learn to summarize as they read. They practice these important skills and strategies in order to comprehend these stories.
