The children are really into counting different objects. I only have a linking cubes and some mini-erasers. I hope that these awesome counters will inspire them to count to 100 and beyond. I will design center activities to meet the Common Core Kindergarten Math Standards. We will work on number identification 1-30, counting to 100, addition, subtraction and number comparisons. These counters will be the backbone of my math instruction. Also, I added in A Caterpillar to Butterfly Big Book Kit to inspire the students to learn about life cycles. It will be awesome for when our caterpillars arrive next month. The Mouse Paint Big Book Kit will help the struggling students learn their colors in a hands-on way. I would be very grateful for these materials for my students and they and their families would be very appreciative.
